  1. Have the Visual Editor remember window size and locaiton.

    It is very annoying to have the Visual Editor window open maximized every time you open it. Even more so when the title bar is above the top of the screen. This is very unprofessional. Please make it so it remembers the window state it was last closed in. Thank you.

    • Disable the user item template filter

      Could you please not have user templates filtered when adding a class to the Source project? That is very annoying. Why would you even do that?

      • Model Scale on import. This is a feature I love about Xneko, would be awesome to have it.

        When you add a model to the editor, would be awesome to have scale and rotation axis adjustments before it is added to a scene. Xenko does this, and I think it is an awesome feature.

            It would be nice to be able to customize the font size of the editor - the panel headers, etc.
            For example, "Entity Parts" and other panel headings are not legible.

            • Rework API Reference

              Rework API Reference page using different software to generate the website.

              Since Wave is working with /// tags and probably even some XML tagging there are some other software packages to generate the API Documentation.

              Options:
              - DoxyGen
              - Sandcastle
              - DocFX

              All the above improve the visuals a lot, which improve the user-friendliness. The current documentation is messy, unclear and sometimes its hard to find that one thing you need to find.

              So changing the documentation generator is your best move to improve user-friendliness.

                I cosider that wave it's a great engine for C# developers, the learning path is not tedius(please it's C# ♥!), the documentation help me so much for understand how to use it, but an academy maybe can helps anothers developers interested in game development that don't how to start,and in their attempt to use the most polular market engines fail(me :( ), but Wave it's different and i love it.

                  The thing is, the BSP-like level editing is still great way to make levels if you don't care too much about detail and with ability to quickly iterate on those.

                    In a behavior, I am able to abstract away things like mouse input so that I can simulate this in a unit test, but when it comes to testing some of the more ingrained functionality it starts to unravel.

                    As an example I would like to write a test that can show that when I simulate a click of a mouse I can see something being added to the EntityManager.

                    My attempts to do this so far have all failed.

                    EntityManager is baked so deep into the framework, you cannot mock it or fake it in any way. It doesn't…

                      At the moment wave engine doesn't support all the keyboard buttons across cultures. For example, it doesn't support the majority of symbol keys on my en-uk keyboard and I imagine it is the same for other cultures. One example of where this impacts is typing an email address which is virtually impossible as '@' and '.' are not where they should be. Textbox can be extended to create culture compatibility, but without the key support in WaveEngine.Common.Input.KeyboardState it is impossible.

                        Box2d has the concept of a signal on a body. This effectively triggers collision detection events but does not stop the 2 bodies from intersecting.

                        Unity has this concept as well for collisions called triggering.

                        As this functionality is already baked into the physics engine, could you please expose it on the RidigBody2D class

                                when i download and instal the 2.2 wave engine and i do all the steps like downloading gdx, and net frame, then i open, then i login after login the wave engine not appear and i think it's start error i clicked the wave engine only back process
                                2. i found at wave engine forum that if you have some trouble maybe graphic card or something not support to the newest engine, then i have idea…

                                  Just one small thing, on the editor, it seems that the numeric spin
                                  has a fixed numeric rounding to n2. When I want to modify some
                                  floating values to smaller values (like 0.004) the rounding will leave

                                    On Win 10 (64 bit) wave editor doesn't launch. After starting the Editor it seems to Compute something, but then nothing happens.

                                        I was tracking Wave Engine for a while, now i'm really interested to use the new version 2.0, but...i still see that the engine do not support dynamic shadows and that is a big problem for me.
                                        Wave Team can you guys implement Cascade Shadows with "PCSS"

                                          At the moment, you only can load a tiled map with a file that is saved as a file on the disk.

                                          It should be possible, to load a tiled map from a XDocument object or provide your own WaveDocumentLoader.

                                          With that, you could load maps, that you create on the fly.
